Great choice of colors! Would you mind flipping the arrow in hawai'i so that it turns the opposite way, still with the skinny part at the top?

One minor comment is changing the glottal stop in Hawai'i to be the same color as the word. And maybe trying a version with brown instead of the purplish color just to see what that would look like. thank you

The water drop wtih the recycle arrows is getting good feedback. Could you try the design without the turtle body parts? It's looking a little bit like horns at the top.

psat0

Jul 14, 1:30am

Regarding entry #30

We received more positive comments about this design. One suggestion was trying to highlight the words "green collar" so that they stand out a little more.

Thanks for putting so much effort into all the new designs, and for trying the fern collar effect.

I also wanted to let you know...I think $225 is a bit much for a logo design. If you decided to use my design, I'd be more than willing to include an extra design for free! (i.e. flier, business card, etc.) Just a suggestion. :) -Sunrise Studios

The placement of words and font works nicely. The trees, birds, and wind make sense but it looks too busy.

psat0

Jul 12, 11:17pm

Regarding entry #57

The fern is a nice addition. Could you try putting two ferns together to make a collar? That might look really nice.

psat0

Jul 12, 11:12pm

Regarding entry #66

The colors and elements are very nice but this design will be too complex to reproduce well in some conditions. Thank you for entering it, however.

psat0

Jul 12, 11:10pm

Regarding entry #50

This one is fun! Could you try it with green rather than blue? Thank you.

psat0

Jul 12, 10:56pm

Regarding entry #51

Thank you for this entry. Could you try this same design in a more vibrant blues and greens? Would like to see how that would look.

psat0

Regarding entry #59

Here is another Design. A Tiki God is almost typical of Hawaii. I tried to incorporate the 3 main Energy sources: water, Sun and Wind. I also thought the Recycle symbol would be a nice addition. This Logo doesn't really need to have the Hawaii Green Collar Energy text next to it, once it's out there. People could easily recognize the Tiki God as yours.

This is nice. We like the use of colors. We'd like to see if you could make the "Hawai'i" part smaller and emphasize the GREEN COLLAR part of the name. Thank you.

fmgraphics

Jul 7, 2:43pm

Regarding entry #36

Thank you for your designs! The combination of the water drop and turtle is nice (especially with the recycle arrows). The text style doesn't work as well. Could you try some other styles? The windmill design is nice as well.

psat0

Jul 7, 2:37pm

Regarding entry #39

The free-form feel of the text is nice. It would be a closer fit for us without the pineapple and the circles but instead having something more Hawaiian. Ferns?

psat0

Jul 7, 2:33pm

Regarding entry #35

Thanks for your design. The movement of air is nice. Could you try a different set of trees? The coconut image is a bit overused as a symbol for Hawaii.

Aloha, One of committee members commented that the leaves may be too busy now. Could you try reducing the tapa effect . . . maybe just on one of the leaves? Or perhaps in the collar only. thanks

This has a nice feel to it. I like the symbolism. Could you try making the arrow go just one way vs both ways? Maybe from left to right?

psat0

The changing shade of green in the collar is nice. The coconut tree is not the best symbol for Hawai`i as it is found in many other tropical places. Will try to find a resource for Hawaiian plant suggestions.

psat0

Jul 5, 3:02am

Regarding entry #24

This design is also strong. I like the colors used for the words. It would fit more closely with our goals if it had a connection to Hawaii and the culture here.

psat0

Jul 5, 2:58am

Regarding entry #17

I feel like it should go sideways and be more connected to the words but can't really visualize it yet.

psat0

Jul 5, 2:54am

Regarding entry #23

This is a great design! It's very strong. The one thing that is a bit missing is a connection to Hawai'i. One thought: Could there be an element of a kapa (tapa) design somewhere without making this too busy?

psat0

Jul 5, 2:52am

Yes I could try to do that is there a way you would like to see the lei's position so I can get it more like you would prefer?

This has a strong design element with the green curves. I like it! Could you try it with a different flower, though? The hibiscus is a bit overused. Thank you.

psat0

Jul 3, 3:17am

Regarding entry #17

Thanks for this entry. I like the lei idea. Wondering if you could try to play with the shape a little bit; perhaps have the lei more integrated with the words? Just a thought.

psat0

Jul 3, 3:14am

Regarding entry #13

Thanks for giving this concept a try! I think it has potential. It's a bit "busy" as is and may not reproduce well but I think you're on a good track.

psat0

Jul 3, 3:12am

Hmmm I see some other people are already working on the Lei collar...they like the Idea I guess. I will come up with something else then....

fmgraphics

Jul 2, 9:34pm

Regarding entry #13

err.. that is, smaller foliage and flowers. sigh.

JanCan

Jul 2, 2:35pm

Regarding entry #13

The lei is not actually illustrated as yet - just pitched together for a concept proof. It it also a bit "chunky" and needs to have smaller foliage and leaves.

JanCan

Jul 2, 2:27pm

I like the placement of words and colors. Thanks for tweaking the design!

psat0

Jul 2, 2:10pm

Regarding entry #11

Thank you for your entry. This is a nice design. I think we want to steer away from the hibiscus as it is overused and is not a national symbol.

Regarding entry #5

This is nice, too. Do you think you could try using a lei design as a type of collar?

psat0

Jul 2, 2:35am

Regarding entry #8

Very clever idea! This could work very nicely. Could you try it with the word Hawai'i on the right side?

psat0

Jul 2, 2:33am

Regarding entry #7

The collar idea is nice. Because Hawaii is more laid back than a lot of places, I wonder if you could modify the collar to look more like a lei.

psat0

Jul 2, 2:32am

Thank you for your entry. The hibiscus tends to be a bit overused so we'd like to see something more unique to our program on green careers.

psat0

Thank you for your entry! We agree that the kalo leaf is a great symbol. Could you try a design where the word "Hawai'i" is not so bold as there are many groups starting with that word. We would like something that makes our group stand out.
