below is the copy for the DVD and credits. the credits should be smaller font(less conspicuous) at bottom Sealed off to the world forever in 2010, Colorado’s Mary Murphy Mine was in operation from 1870-1982. This is the last remaining chance to explore some of the extensive tunnels and to experience the treacherous path to gold discovery. It would look better without the watermark on the photo, but, you get the idea. I am considering putting photos on the back of the mine two or three, next to the man in the playing the instrument....tall, three stacked on top of each other...but I did not want it to be too busy. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Fran

Thanks for your feedback!... I've made the changes you've requested...added "barn wood" image to background, added nails to the poster (nice touch!) and included the band on back cover. (Didn't see the name of the band on the design brief???) The images and text can be changed to whatever you're needing it to portray...also added a spine to the cover...

Change the photo of the mine structure from black and white to sepia tone (with creme border, not white) and make it much larger (it is the most interesting thing on the back cover). 3. Make the border of the band photo smaller. Posssibly make the photo smaller as well - the DVD is about the mine, not sure the band photo will be used 4. I am unclear what the dark smudge is in the upper left corner of the backside with the pen. But - perhaps it could be something more closely related to mining or prospecting You've probably seen photos or drawings of old prospectors in baggy clothes, floppy hat and carrying a miner's pick. It might be that one of them would jazz up the front, perhaps even in place of the mine dump scenic on the right of the front cover.

Perhaps change "Ho for the Yellow Stone" to "Westward Ho for the Yellow Stone" Change "Narrated by Renown Colorado Miner" to "Narrated by the men who have been there". 4. On the back side (left side), change "Gold Mines of Colorado" to "Famous Colorado Gold Mine." 5. Perhaps have tacks or small nails in the corners of the paper like it is tacked up. 6. If wanted, you could have a darker wood grain behind the edges of the paper as if it is on a wooden wall
Okay, I changed the miner and the title. I changed the text on the back, but that really is just a place-holder. It can say whatever you want it to say. Entry 8 emphasizes the documentary aspect. Entry 9 plays more to the local imagery. However, those local images are just off someone's website, they are not copyright free. I would need some authorized images.

Consider dressing and equiping the guy with the headlamp in long pants, miner's gear belt and otherwise making him look like a miner, not a hiker who has snuck into the mine without permission. Still, as a hiker, that heightens the feeling of adventure. 2. Consider adding a town name or mountain name to narrow the location a bit. "Mary Murphy Mine, Romley, Colorado" or something. 3. Consider adding the word prolific ... "The prolific Mary Murphy Mine (over one hundred years old) ..." 4. On the front - I like the font for the word "Mine" stands out nicely. i like the idea of the oldtimer "ghost image" and the background is the old tram building. I would like to add the word Gold the the front cover somewhere and maybe change the font for "Mary Murphy" to a more virtical script or a bold circus type script
