I like your site and concept but I have a few questions.

I have used similar services on Elance and Freelancer for programming so it is good to see one for design, but your implementation seems to make everything public.

If I submit a contest I want the ability to have it visible only to registered designers, I also don't want the designs visible as they are with the leaves project (or is this a demo).

I think you should also have an area that gives an average price vs number of responces without showing the design so that a buyer has an idea of the "street price". For example if I asked for the design of a brand to be used on a Joomla template, Twitter and Facebook, I would want to see a league table that showed the top 20 results for people who ordered this. It would be sorted by the ratio (price offered) divided by (number of designs provided) multipled by the (average star rating value).

Hope you can answer my privacy concerns, if so I might submit a contest.

Hi davidp24,

Thanks for the response. I'm happy to inform you that we already have a system in place to hide your entries from unregistered eyes. To see it in action, log out of Prova & visit our homepage (prova.fm/advertising/) Look at the table of Recent Advertisement Design Contests & you'll see a "Private Logo Design Contest" highlighted in green. When logged out you won't be able to view it.

To get the private option, select the "Private" checkbox when you launch a contest. If you've already submitted a contest, let me know and I can add the Private feature.

I like your idea for the price/entries ratio. We'll try to implement that as soon as we can.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I am an ideas person so great to hear you like them. The only problem I see with your private option is that both buyers and sellers register. It is no great shakes to register if that is all I have to do, it will take 30 seconds.

My thinking is that you offer designers a second level of membership, they would have to pay say $500 up front and this would give them a better commission structure (i.e. you take a smaller cut of projects awarded to them) and it would allow them exclusive access to projects buyers want to keep private.

David,

You are correct about the privacy. However, I'm not sure if I understand your concern. Registered users would need to be able to see your project. Are you suggesting that you don't want other registered business clients to see your project? Or you don't want anyone (even designers) to see your project? If you clarify, we can work something out.

Regarding your membership levels, we'll take all that into consideration.

Thanks,
-Guru
