Because of a recent hacker attack, I had to dete my Joomla installation and upload an uninfected version. After doing that, I needed to reinstall my various extensions and plugins, Prova.fm being among them. The uninstallation wouldn't work because all though the files weren't there, something in the database seems to think it is. I can't install the plugin from scratch either for the same reason.

Can you help me please figure out how to remove the plugin (or at least convince my Joomla installation that it's gone), so I can cleanly install the plugin again?

Hi Marc,

Too bad about the hacker. If you unzip the download file, you'll see 3 files & a 'prova_images' folder.
Upload the *.php & *.xml to <root>/plugins/content/ folder
Upload the 'prova_images' folder to the same location.
Upload the *.ini file to <root>/administrator/language/en-GB/ folder

Those are all the files it uses. If a file is missing you can't uninstall it. Once those are uploaded, it should work, or allow you to uninstall. Let me know if it works,

Your fix worked -mostly. For whatever reason, the Facebook badge isn't displaying. Other than that I seem to be back in business.
