prova.fm installed but not showing in articles 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I have just installed prova.fm in my website and I think it has been configured right. Nevertheless, the share info and buttons are not appearing in the articles of the chosen category. Can someone help me on this issue?

Please see img of the configuration panel attached.

Thanks,

Paulo

Paulo,

I'm sorry it's not working right for you. Could you give me a URL to check it out? I can't see why it wouldn't show. I notice you've got it in Legacy mode. I set our site to legacy & the plugin still worked. Are there any other major plugins or components you have installed?

Hi Paulo,

When I look at your site, I'm not sure why it doesn't show. Let's start with the basics. In your Joomla admin, you entered #38 for "Categories to Include."

When you go to Content -> Categories in your Joomla Admin, do you really have 38 categories? On this page (Content -> Categories), you'll see the category you want to show the plugin, & if you look to the far right, what's the number under "ID"?

That's the number you want to put in the "Categories to include" option. If you entered the ID# of an article, it won't work. You can only display the plugin for all articles of a category, not by individual article.

Let me know if this helps. If not, can you give me a screen shot of your category page, & a direct link to the page you want the plugin to appear on?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply!

I include a screenshot of the categories page in the admin area. And here's the direct link for the content I would like the plugin appear to: Direct link

That direct link is a blog layout. This plugin only shows up on individual articles. Try viewing an individual article from category 38 & see if it shows up.
